03/14/2007Creating Your Own Life To change your life you need to change you. And it's easier than you may think. ------------------------------------------------------------ 03/14/2007 ------------------------------------------------------------ Hi {!name_fix}, Welcome to my Creating Your Own Life newsletter. The purpose of this newsletter is to explore how we can make changes in ourselves which will create changes in our world. We will do that by making simple changes in our thoughts, words, actions and expectations. As we change our beliefs about ourselves and the world, our lives WILL change. Our lives WILL change from the inside out. Here, we will find the tools and techniques to help make those changes happen. I hope that you enjoy it. Russ ------------------------------------------------------------ Well {!name_fix}, I guess I'm back sooner than I expected to be. I have not set up a schedule for this newsletter yet. My thought right now is that I will write when I feel like I have something to share with you. Let me know how you feel about that. Here is what I want to look at this time. According to the law of attraction, our dominate thoughts are what manifest into our reality. Are your dominate thoughts around abundance or around lack? If you think about abundance you will draw abundance into your life. If you think about lack you will draw lack into your life. We are not going to go into all of the things in your past that would give you very good reasons to have a belief in lack that you may have carried around for years. What we are looking for here is how to get more abundance into your life. How can you create abundance as your dominate thought? I am going to give you two simple ways to do that here. If you have read my site you know that I am a large believer in writing a gratitude journal. Get yourself a notebook and use it as a gratitude journal. Every night write down at least 5 things that you are grateful for from that day. They can be large things or small things. It doesn't matter how big or small that they are. You can make this even more powerful by adding the reason why you are grateful for those particular things. After you have done this for a few days, go back and see what you had written a few days before. It is a great upper when you are not feeling so great. It will always remind you of the abundance that you DO have in your life. The second thing that I would like you to do is see how many times you can say "thank you" throughout the day. I am not talking about just saying "thank you" in passing. I am talking about taking the time to stop, look the other person in the eye and saying "Thank You" in a way that they know that you really mean it. See how you feel when you do that. See how the other person looks when you do that. It will make a difference in your day and it will most likely make a difference in their day. Both of these things will put you into a place of really noticing the abundance that is already in your life. The gratitude journal will show you the abundance that came into your life in one form or another that day. Saying "Thank You" to someone will be acknowledging some gift that they gave to you. You can not think about lack and abundance at the same time. As you do these two simple things regularly, see how much more abundance comes into your life. As you do these two simple things regularly, see how you feel about you. I would love to hear what happens as you do this. You know that you can always get in touch with me. By the way, if you have not read it yet, there is a book called "The Power of Gratitude" that you can get for free here: http://www.creatingyourownlife.com/books/PowerofGratitude.pdf Have a great day. Russ ------------------------------------------------------------ I am always open to any questions, ideas, comments, rants, suggestions or anything else. I also agree to disagree. Go ahead and challenge me and make me back up what I am talking about. Feel free to get in touch with me. I DO answer all e-mails. ------------------------------------------------------------ Russ Beauchene has a web site called: http://www.creatingyourownlife.com It's about making the changes in ourselves that we need to make in order to get what we want in life.
